Your Favorite Year of Wizard101 Contest – Kenneth IceBlade
It’s our second winner of the Birthday Celebration Blog Contest! Kenneth IceBlade, level 81 Ice Wizard, tells us all about his favorite year… 2010!
I’ve played Wizard101 for over 5 years now, and my favorite year in Wizard101 history was 2010. So many new features and were added and it was totally awesome! 2010 added so many things to make the game even more fun, and here’s why!
First off, one of the best updates of 2010 was PETS! Wizards from all around the Spiral get to meet up in Wizard City with their best and most beloved pets and make something new and adorable by hatching with another person! They became more than just cute little animals who followed you around. They became talented, extraordinary creatures to assist you. The talents system is REALLY useful, and I love it when my pets cast healing spells for me, especially when I’m in a jam with a tough boss. I love my pets so much! And of course, let’s not forget training them. The games in the Pet Pavilion were super relaxing, and gave us Wizards something to do other than study in Ravenwood or go off battling monsters in Grizzleheim. The whole Pet Pavilion is pure fun!
Another huge release: the lost, faraway world of Celestia! I was so excited about getting to be the first to fight through the new bosses and experience the new storyline and everyone couldn’t wait! Not only that, but Selena Gomez made a stop in Wizard City, and it was cool seeing a celebrity from real-life being in the Spiral.
The release of Celestia also gave three brand-new, phenomenal surprises, known as the Astral Schools. These schools are extremely useful to all the wizards of the Spiral and have definitely given us an extra power boost to our spells! But none of us forgot our original schools though; our professors caught our attention with new Rank 8 spells for all Ravenwood schools, an awesome new spell for a powerful, legendary wizard!
And the last major release of the year was Gardening, another great hobby that wizards still do and love today. I always love harvesting my plants and getting some nice reagents to help me craft some good gear. And there was nothing wrong with a little showing-off of your exotic plants from all over the spiral in your garden.
2010 wasn’t just about the releases and content for me, though. I made some of my best friends in 2010, and I still talk to most of them even after the four years that I met them. It was even more epic when we got to battle our way through the Trial of the Spheres and defeat Mithraya together. 2010 was an awesome year for me and I hope I get another year like this in 2015.
Overall, the new content was amazing, especially the release of hobbies in the game, giving wizards something to do in their free time and relax, to just chill out like an Ice Wizard. Let’s not give too much attention to just 2010, though. The years before and the years after both gave Wizard101 amazing parts of the game that made the Wizard101 experience one-of-a-kind. I look forward to the new releases of 2015, and I hope you do too. Thanks for reading!

I loved the garden update! Also how it has increased during the years, now there are a huge variation of seeds that look great for housing and are good too!

my favorite thing of wizard101 2014 is the becoming level 100 and the level 100 gear the crown shop update and how the popular things are 5000 crowns I also like how you can buy different things for your wizard.
my favorite was last yeah because of the dragon mounts that was pretty sweet, and i liked the 4th one or i acually don’t know but it was one yeah where they cave out free shark mounts that was sweet!

i think this is the best year with the castle booster pack for people who dont have castles. i havent tried it out yet but i think it will be cool.

my favorite year is 2014 because of the quests and the new updates infact I love all the quests and updates but the year 2014 is my favorite than you for this opportunity.
my favourite thing of wizard 101 2014 is becoming lvl 100 and the new shadow spells they are REALLY COOL !!! ❤ and of course the new crowns things in the crown shop

i like wizards 101 every year. i just hate how you need lots of crowns and gold to do things. and we need more powerfull cards that take less pips. but over all its a fun game to play its a lot better then pirates 101. i hope to get a permanent mount for coins and looks cool. i feel the game could be more fun with some changes. thats all.101 101 101 101 101 101 101 101 101 101 101 101 101 best year 2014.
My favorite year of wizard101 has to be when the Halloween quest came out where you went into the dungeon place in the haunted cave. It was amazing 😀

I have been playing Wizard101 for years now, and so far they were all amazing! I’m fascinated by everything about this game! I love the different schools, I love the cool spells, all the different worlds, the gardening, the houses, the pets, the characters, and even more. So basically, I love everything about Wizard101. The thing I love most about this game would have to be the battles. The way the battles are set up amazes me. The people who came up with the setup must be geniuses! It’s complex yet so simple and easy to understand at the same time. I couldn’t think of anything better! My favorite year of Wizard101 would have to be this year. Every year KingsIsle adds more cool updates to make the game even more awesome! Every new year always ends up becoming my favorite year because of this. Never stop improving! Happy birthday Wizard101 and many more!
I love this wizard because its all about having fun not about showing off your skills and judging people about they need to do better well no its not like that its all about making people happy and have a great day play wizard101 and have some fun for once. Plus some people who are haters thinks that they can judge people saying that you oh your terrible at this game and its not like that you should always help a friend who needs help learning the game so the alonely thing im saying is that don’t be haters and injoy the game.
i love enjoying the game, new pets, new spells , my favorite school is myth , going through the whole spiral , go on have a blast with your new friends , helping each other out getting amazing mounts, and the different school of magical arts of raven wood. balance,fire,ice,storm,life,myth,and death all 7 schools of magic i hope you will have a wonderful amazing adventure defeating malistaire, morganthe other boss monsters , player vs player, you can verse other wizards as well.

so my favorite year is 2014
my favorite year was 2014, because of fishing and to all of my friends that told me about wizard101 in 2012. I have been playing 2 years so far and the best year I have encountered was 2014! it is so much fun fishing I just cant help talking about fishing fishing fishing fishing! it is the best thing I have encountered in the whole game! I have not got a castle yet but I also love defeating kraken and other bosses. cant saying anything more. I just want everybody in the world to be playing this game because it is the best ever! because this is a comment about my favorite year, I shouldn’t say anymore but I cant help it! I just LOVE IT!

wizard101 is the best magical exsperiance I have ever had I love being a wizard at wizard101 I love buying things from the crown shop and all the new exciting up dates are really out standing 2014

Hello there. My favourite Year about Wizard101 is the 6th Birthday. It is really cool. Oh, I just love birthdays!
ok omg this game wizard101 is the best thing ever, i have learned so much ive been playing this game sense it came out. my favorite addition they added was planting and fishing. the best contest i like is any contest on or near Halloween. i wish them their 6th birthday!! oh gosh it seems like ive been playing this for 10 years. this is my childhood game forever and always. i remember being sick and staying home and playing this all day increasing level by level like i still do now and watching tom and jerry.
My favorite year of wizard 101 would have to be this year with so many awesome updates and great quests to look forward too there’s also so many cool things you can buy or earn from the game I think wizard101 is a very awesome and sweet game to play and I recommend so many people to play this because its very interesting I have gotten 23 people I know to play this and they love it happy birthday!!!

My favorite year is when you guys made this game. This game is so awesome it’s my favorite. Creating this game was the best, putting new stuff on the game and updating it was the best. Mostly everything is so awesome on this game you guys make it so awesome everyone in the world wants to play it and that’s over 3,000,000 million people! So thank you so much for making this game on the year you did, i love how you put so much effort into this game its just P.E.R.F.E.C.T!
My favorite year in wizard 101 is all of there year since it started but it always get better every day and that is what wizard 101 really fun because they always add new thing to make it better and more fun for us to enjoys!!
