Do you remember the first time you set foot in the Spiral? Was it just yesterday, or have you quested with us since the very beginning? No matter how long you’ve played, everyone in our community continues to be the beating heart of Wizard101.
Moribund Studios has embraced this idea and showcased it in their brand-new documentary series, Long Live the Spiral, now available on Amazon Prime!
The docuseries will be released one episode at a time, on a weekly basis. There will be 4 episodes in total.
About the Docuseries
Long Live the Spiral is a Wizard101 docuseries independently developed by Moribund Studios. It covers how the game was created, how the game has evolved over the years, and gives a glimpse into different aspects of the community. Containing interviews with current and former KingsIsle employees, as well as community members, this docuseries focuses on giving back to the dedicated fans of Wizard101.

wow so cool I cant believe how long this game has gone on i was 5 years old when i saw this came out ive been playing ever since ive been a die hard fan for 10 years and I never want this to end thank you for making such a great game!!!

I’m a fellow wizards player, I’ve played for over 6 years, I first joined when wizards had a tv ad around 2015-16. I had loved the game then but fell out for a few years. I recently joined back at the end of last year and I saw how it had grown so much. I’m definitely glad to see a game run like that, and run well. Super excited for the future of wizards and don’t plan on leaving it soon. Lot of others games who have been created at the time wizards was is either non existent or dead, so for wizards to stand strong as it is today, is a blessing. Thank you wizards for making my childhood and now a great and amazing time.

when i first played this game i was amazed at how much fun it was it helped me through my husbands sickness and his death. Thank you wizard101 i truly love this game and love helping others. I also love teaching others in this game

hello fellow wizards and fans from all over.I have to say that this game has made a huge impact on my life.not only have i been here since launch but am still here as a daily player knocking back hours and countless hours of play.i have made some real life friends on here and even in a relationship tied to wizards 101…if it wasnt for this game i wouldnt have the family of fgriends i have now that are as real as the family and friends i see every day sometimes the family from wizards101 is more real and profound in my everyday life..i would like to thank the creators and workers for this game..to me its more then a dame its a virtural hang out where i can be with some truly good people and have fun leaving the stress of everyday life melt away like a snowman from polaris under the desert sun in mirage…ty ty ty much love to you all…

This is really cool, I’m already nostalgic. Every Halloween it gets really strong because all the Halloween quests have the original dialog and it takes me right back to elementary school and watching Halloweentown on Disney while playing and I just miss it all so much. Thank you.

I have played since the first year. I stated playing when my children asked me to help them collect things when they went out to play. I was hooked and started my own character on their account. Then I created my own account. I’ve been playing ever since. I remember how hard it was to reach level fifty, “Grand Master.” I made it, then couldn’t wait for the updates. And, it’s been that way ever since. I have multiple accounts with all the school characters and some how seem to find storm my favorite school. It’s nice to see that Wizard101 continues to expand the game and add different elements. They have actually used one my suggestions, although at the time it was said my idea would never be implemented due to certain reasons, but they did :-)! BTW it was the suggestion to allow the player the ability to change certain features like hair and face with options for gold and crown items! It was said at the time that allowing players to change those features would cause issues of copying other players and make it threatening to their character identity. LOL, even when people don’t always agree with you doesn’t mean you quit trying to think of new ideas or that people like Kingsisle won’t consider your idea. Creativity is wonderful and Wizard101, Kingsisle are great examples of that. Get out there, have fun and create!

Been here since after Dragonspyre. The commercials had my 12 yo self hooked. Thanks for all the memories for stayin up late at night falling asleep on my moms laptop, after begging her for a membership. love this game :))))

This is awesome! Looking forward to more great videos about Wizard101’s development! I hope the next one has an in-depth look at the sounds of the game: voice actors, music, and spell card sounds. We’ll see!

Long Live the Spiral is FANTASTIC!!!! please KI make more than 4 episodes, ive been playing for the last 4 years and love the game. your documentary was so well done a have a few friends joining the spiral adventures and loving it too. Karamelle was well done and worth the wait, thank you KI for all the great times and friends ive met through my journeys in the spiral..
this is cool!! next thing should be like a movie and/or streaming show based on the game! that would be awesome

I play Wizard101 since a few years. i love this game and i would really like to see the series. But i live in Switzerland, here is not avalable. Please do something so wizards all around the world can see this!! i am not the only one with this wish, as i see in the comments.

I LOVE WIZARDS101 it’s like my family. Yeah there’s drama but you can always delete and start over. I buy $100.00 of crowns on the beginning of the month even give packs to everyone on my friends list. then I delete and start a new friends list. Keeps drama down that way. But I’m a collector of everything wizards and started playing after the first season. because of that I missed out on the tv, computer, and the video game. I tried to collect the Venus fly trap but still can’t get one. I’m tired of trying. One who spends so much shouldn’t have to try so hard. I’m disappointed so I’m leaving the game. I’m sad because I’ve spent thousands on this game but if I can’t have the tv, computer and the video game or the Venus fly trap then I’m done. I’m going to miss you all this is by far the best game I’ve ever joined. Number one game. just can’t keep spending money on a game that won’t reward loyalty.
