Celebrating Pride For All of Us!

Celebrating Pride For All of Us!

Pride Month is a time to celebrate the LGBTIQ+ community and reaffirm the importance of inclusion, belonging, and respect. At KingsIsle, we believe the strongest communities are built when everyone feels seen, valued, and empowered to be their authentic selves. Our games thrive on imagination, diversity, and community, and we want every player and team member to know they belong. Pride Month is not only a celebration, but also a reminder of the ongoing work to create a more inclusive environment for everyone. Rooted in the legacy of the Stonewall Uprising of 1969, it calls us to honor those who paved the way, uplift queer voices, recognize the challenges that remain, and continue building a culture of understanding, acceptance, and equality.

This year, we also reflect 2026’s Pride Month theme, “For All of Us,” inspired by the words often attributed to Black trans activist and Stonewall veteran, Marsha P. Johnson: “There is no pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.” The theme highlights that true LGBTIQ + pride requires the liberation of all community members, especially the most marginalized, including trans and non-binary individuals facing increasing attacks at governmental and societal levels. It honors the legacy of early queer trailblazers while emphasizing community, solidarity, and the ongoing fight for equality and safety for all LGBTIQ + people. The message carries particular significance in 2026 as Pride events around the world continue to face political, economic, and social challenges, with some local celebrations being scaled back or canceled.

Why Pride Still Matters in 2026

We are once again proud to partner with Outright International for Pride Month through their Outright Proud Initiative to support global LGBTIQ+ rights and advocacy.

In 2026, Pride feels more important than ever. Across the world, LGBTIQ+ individuals face mounting challenges to their rights, safety, and visibility. It is heartbreaking to know that members of our own community, our players, coworkers, and friends, are still fighting just to be who they are. As a gaming company, we believe in the power of bringing people together. That means fostering inclusive, welcoming spaces not just in our games, but everywhere our community exists.
